One half, or both?
The most useful thing an Inverness owner can tell us is whether one compartment has warmed or both. For both compartments warm at once, Sub-Zero’s service manual for the 600-series built-ins starts outside the sealed system: the temperature of the room, which Sub-Zero expects to stay within 60°F to 90°F; air across the condenser, whether the coil is matted or its fan has stopped; the settings on the panel; and a warm load of shopping, which Sub-Zero says can take hours to settle. It also lists a showroom setting that leaves the cabinet lit but not cooling, and Sub-Zero’s current troubleshooting still asks owners to rule that out, along with Sabbath mode.
